Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional is a Brazilian steelmaker based in the state of Rio de Janeiro. It makes flat steel products, including slabs, hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils, and also produces tinplate and galvanised steel for customers in construction, automotive, packaging and appliance manufacturing. The company runs its own iron ore mines and limestone quarries that feed its steelworks, and it operates railway and port logistics that move its raw materials and finished steel to domestic and export markets.
