X-FAB Silicon Foundries is a semiconductor foundry group based in Erfurt, Germany. It manufactures analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for other companies, using specialty process technologies such as CMOS and BCD. Its customers are chip designers and electronics manufacturers serving automotive, industrial, medical and consumer markets, and it operates fabrication plants in several countries. The company provides foundry services rather than selling its own branded chips, working with customers from design support through volume production.
